Back Bay Dancewear has been serving the dance community since 1975 and is owned and operated by dancers. We pride ourselves on our outstanding and personal service and our capacity to respond promptly to both your long-term plans and the inevitable emergencies of the dance world.
Among our regular clients we are pleased to include Boston Ballet and many other major professional dance companies nationwide. We have, therefore, the staff and resources to expedite sizable orders with facility. |

Carolina Ballet 
Carolina Ballet was launched in 1997, under the direction of artistic director Robert Weiss, to serve the ever-expanding Triangle community that includes Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park, Fuquay-Varina and beyond. Going into its tenth anniversary season, Carolina Ballet, with a budget of $5.3 million, is being recognized as one of the top ten ballet companies in the country. The company totals 32 dancers and during the 2007-2008 season will perform in Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem and Wilmington. |

Dance Design
Dance Design, located at Rams Plaza, 1728 Fordham Blvd. Suite 153 in Chapel Hill, NC, can outfit you from head to toe - from the most basic bodywear to the latest seasonal prints. Leotards and unitards are available in an assortment of fabrics, colors and styles. Dance Design also has a complete line of dance skirts in solid colors and prints available in adult and children's sizes. Leotards, tights and activewear are available in toddler sizes through full figure. And to complete your wardrobe...DD has all the latest accessories. Arrangements have been made with Dance Design to stock everything that our students will need to meet the dress code requirements of our studio. |

Flamenco Carolina
Flamenco Carolina is a local dance group based in Durham, NC. We teach the art of flamenco dance, perform, and organize workshops several times a year. Our group is composed of flamenco dancers and guitarist who have studied locally with Carlota Santana of NYC, and abroad with other notable flamenco performers. Flamenco is a style of music and dance indigenous to the region of Southern Spain called Andalucía. It grew out of the melding of diverse cultures in the region inluding Gypsy, Sephardic, Moorish, and Byzantine influences. Please see our website, www.flamencoNC.com for more information.

Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana Our flamenco programs in the schools offer unusual opportunities for youngsters to explore new horizons and develop and share their individual talents (including, in some cases, Spanish translation for our performers!). Our evening classes are very flexible. You may begin at any time and come whenever you wish. You are welcome to come and visit a class if you would like. No pre-registration is required. All of our evening classes are held at Legacy Studios. |

Footlights is a retail establishment serving the aspiring student and the professional by supplying a comprehensive selection of dance shoes, bodywear, accessories and gifts for all genres of dance.
Enter our store and experience the world of dance. Our fun interior with theatrical lighting spotlights our wooden dance floor, mirror and barre, and authentic theater seats from the Radio City Music Hall! An illuminated catwalk stretches across the lofty ceiling above our displays of shoes and merchandise.

Long Leaf Opera
Founded in 1998, Long Leaf Opera is a professional, non-profit organization dedicated to works written for the operatic stage in English. Long Leaf Opera specifically highlights American composers, but also encourages the production of works from around the world. It commissions new works and actively recruits new talent. Dedicated to a culturally diverse company of artists, LLO welcomes anyone into its family who wishes to give of their time and talent for the betterment of the community.

Triangle Vintage Dance
Triangle Vintage Dance (TVD) is dedicated to providing Vintage Dance events for the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. Vintage Dance refers to dancing of the 1860s to the 1930s. It includes country dances and quadrilles, which are taught and called like contra dances. Vintage Dance also includes couple dances such as Victorian Waltz, Polka, Schottische, and Mazurka, as well as Ragtime One-Step, Foxtrot, Tango, Blues and Charleston. Additionally, TVD covers Cross-Step Waltz, that originated in the 1930s. Swing dancing is also included at TVD monthly dances.

Willie B Dancewear
Understanding the difficulty of finding the perfect fit and fabric led Will Baierbach (a Legacy Studio Dance Instructor) to conceive and establish his own line of dancewear 10 years ago. Two decades of performing professionally has allowed him to understand a dancer's needs in practice and performance attire. You can see and purchase selections of Will's dancewear in the studio 2 lobby at Legacy Studios. |
